I am often asked how I got started in photography and this is always the story I tell..
Back in the Summer of 2015, Josh Barker and I were riding out motorcycles home after a night at The Crying Wolf in East Nashville and Josh's bike broke down on the side of the interstate. A few days after his bike broke down, I was heading to New York City for a modeling job and asked Josh if he would be interested in trading his camera in exchange for my Harley for a few days. My bike broke down while he had it and somehow it fell over while it was being trailered home. Josh and I made a deal that I could keep his camera until my bike was fixed....and that's how I got into photography!
Fast forward to March 2020.. I was in Nashville to shoot a job a day before the corona virus pandemic happened. I was living in Los Angeles at the time and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to get on a plane and fly back home. I was staying in a hotel in Nashville while I was trying to make sense of everything and Josh offered for me to stay in the guest room at his house. We wound up being roommates during quarantine and I thought it would be fun to do a day in the life shoot with him.
